Six faces and six stories to talk about education in the country of Uganda, too often forgotten by the international media.

Those are students of the Bishop Cipriano Kihangire High School, a Catholic school founded by Father Giovanni “John” Scalbrini ( Emmaus Foundation) and supported by AIUEF (The ItalyUganda Emmaus Onlus Foundation of Pavia).

Of the 1.750 students at the school, over 230 of them receive economic support from that number of families in Italy via the AIUEF.

The support received from Italy assures the students a good education, hot meals, and a place to sleep. Aida, Vincent, Nelsonnel, Gerald, Grace and Emmanuel, are the protagonists of Uganda Calling
they were destined to become street-kids. After having met Father John Scalabrini their life has totally changed.

These six protagonists share their lives with us.
